Why should we take #illegalwildlifetrade seriously? Because it not only deprives us of our precious #wildlife resources, it is also linked to other crimes including money laundering, corruption and the drug trade, all of which leave our continent poorer.
This is why @AWF_Official is determined to intensify anti-poaching efforts even during #covid19. For example, in Dja, Faro and Campo, we are helping the conservation service to keep patrol units going by providing support in terms of training, logistics and tracking equipment.
