Thank you so much everyone for your replies and suggestions. So many great songs that immediately come to mind, as well as some I’d forgotten about and some suggestions that I am off to investigate. I think there will be a cracking Spotify playlist coming up ❤️
So many of these songs are about the experiences of those who return from conflict, whether they went voluntarily or not. I am not OK with war (obviously) I am a pacifist, but I support all affected by it, both soldiers and civilians 💖💖💖 I don’t support the instigators
