Global Philanthropy Alliance is a non-profit, public foundation which makes small grants ($2500-$10,000 USD) to youth led or youth empowering orgs in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa working to find entrepreneurial solutions to social problems in their communities.

GPA seeks out leading grassroots organizations who are addressing issues in their communities by using new and innovative ideas, empowering youth to be leaders of change, and promoting local philanthropy.
GPA supports young social entrepreneurs. GPA funds social entrepreneurial organizations, or social enterprises, that use business practices to benefit their community, creating positive social change.
So who qualifies to apply for GPA funding?

You qualify to apply for this fund if:
a. You are a grassroots organisation based in or around Lagos.
b. You're a social entrepreneur or enterprise.
c. Your organisation is youth led or youth engaged.
d. You intend to use the grant to benefit your immediate community.

What won't GPA fund?
1. GPA will not fund the day-to-day running of your org. GPA funds are project specific and focused.
2. GPA will not fund projects or organisations that are not sustainable.
3. GPA will not fund projects that do not lead to entrepreneurship or employment.
