Fans were unsatisfied w this response. It took him until 2018 to finally interact w BLM flags. He lifted them up and added BLM stickers to his guitar.

He didn’t lift the flags bc he didn’t want to look like a WHITE SAVIOR. This shows that he is EDUCATED, not the opposite. He didn’t want to be a figurehead of the BLACK Lives Matter movement bc he’s NOT BLACK.
YES his explanation took a long time and yes black fans were hurt. But to continue to dig that in by claiming he doesn’t care about us? That he only values white fans when it’s not true? Is it so hard to think white people might actually give a shit about us?
Finally onto this ss: cringy as hell but tell me how is this cultural appropriation when there are white women out there tanning 100 shades darker to look black. When there are white people adapting AAVE into their vocabulary when years ago they would have shunned it.

Don’t get me started on the not supporting LGBT thing. Obviously you can all use the internet and look up the charities he’s supported. He’s also queer, unless you don’t recognize that bc ur a gatekeeping LGBT—then fuck you.
As a black Stan I’m tired of things being taken out of context. I’m tired of people faking they care about poc lives or black lives. Harry has NEVER expressed hating poc, and putting these hurtful ideas into people’s head does what? Make more poc feel worthless? Shut the fuck up.
This all derails completely from shit that actually matters. Cancel culture is fucking IRRELEVANT. It’s petty drama that does nothing to serve people being hurt. You know what does matter? Donating to a bail fund for protestors. Donating to a relief fund for Palestinians.
