Today my good friend lost his good friend. He allowed me to share his words over the loss of his friend. I would like everyone to take a good long look at this man. This is Sgt. Craig Johnson,

And he was an amazing husband, father of two little guys, cop and friend. He was executed Monday morning while most of us slept safely in our beds.

Take two important things with you before you scroll past his face:

First, our nation’s attack on our police officers is the second suspect in Craig’s murder. Our society has enabled a hatred that has left Craig’s children without a father and his wife without a husband.

Secondly, other men and women will take over in Craig’s absence

At the squad table. They will continue to be out there on the same streets tonight so that you can continue to sleep safely in your beds. That peace that is easily taken for granted does not come without cost.
