I cant tell you how surreal it is to see BAME folk I used to attend anti racist events & Palestine marches with, fall down well designed R wing rabbit holes. I'd already started compiling these links for one, to show him where the rumours about Soros funding BLM stem from.

I sighed when 1 friend told me not to call him until I've woken up about #BLM being funded by #Soros & Antifa wanting a race war on the same day I was removed from an AF group for not agreeing with them.

The waters are very muddy right now & it's all by design. I'm just so disappointed to see how many have fallen for it. Claiming that #BlackLivesMatter is an anti-Semitic movement stems from the same place that #SorosFundedRiots rumours come from.

Blaming Soros is a way of delegitimizing the protests; calls for justice & participation are, at their core, about who gets to participate & be heard in a democracy. Claiming they are being masterminded denies the agency of every protester.
