B1G All-Decade update thread:
RBs:
Jonathan Taylor-Wisc
Saquan Barkley-PSU
JT was a shoe in, 1 of the most productive RBs in college football history, likely would have shattered records if he stayed his senior season
Saquan gets in mostly based on reputation, but it’s hard to argue his place, special player

LBs:
Josey Jewell- Iowa
Devin Bush- UofM
Chris Borland- Wisc
Would have loved to see Max or Bachie here, but tough to argue this group.
Jewell 3x All-B1G (2x 2nd team 1x 1st) conference DPOY/unanimous AA.
Bush obviously not a fan favorite but 2x AA and B1G DPOY

Chris Borland probably my favorite player of the bunch, 420 tackles, 50 TFL, 17 sacks at Wisc, 3x 1st team B1G, 3x B1G champ, would have been an incredible pro too but retired after his rookie year due to health concerns
OL Finalized:
Dan Feeney- Indiana
Brandon Scherff- Iowa
Taylor Lewan- UM
Wyatt Davis- OSU
Billy Price- OSU
Michael Deiter- Wisconsin

Michael Deiter- Wisconsin
Dan Feeney- 4th player in IU history to be a 2x AA, super athletic player who missed some time due to injury but absolutely deserves his spot.
Brandon Scherff- BEAST, one of my favorite OL in conference history, broke his leg early in his career then came back as a 2x AA and..

an Outland Trophy as the best IOL in college football, was drafted #5 overall and has had himself a hell of an NFL career
Taylor Lewan- Rivalry bias aside it's hard to argue his place on the list, Lewan was a 2x AA, 3x 1st team B1G, and 2x B1G OL of the year
Taylor Lewan- Rivalry bias aside it's hard to argue his place on the list, Lewan was a 2x AA, 3x 1st team B1G, and 2x B1G OL of the year
Wyatt Davis- Only current player to make the list so far, and probably the most controversial, only a 1 year starter but had a hell of a season as a 1st team AA. Will be a 1st round pick after another (expected) AA type year, but I would have liked to see Jack Allen here
Billy Price- The body of work is really impressive here as the anchor for some great OSU offenses, Price was a 3x All-B1G performer (1x 3rd team, 2x 1st team) a 2x AA, and a Rimington award winner as the best C in college football as a senior in 2017
Michael Deiter- I guess you have to put a Wisc OL here, and he's a damn good one, I still could argue Jack Allen here but Deiter was a B1G OL of the year in 2018, an AA, and a 2x 1st team B1G
All in all on the OL, Jack Allen got screwed in my opinion. This guy was a 4 year starter, a back to back 1st team AA, a back to back 1st team All-B1G, and a back to back Rimington Award finalist (top 3). I'd argue him over Wyatt Davis (1 year starter) & probably Michael Deiter
TE: Jake Butt- Michigan
Only 2x winner of B1G TE of the year. Matchup nightmare who finished his career with over 1,600 yards and a first team AA nod his junior year

DBs:
CB Darqueze Dennard- MSU
Thorpe award winner (best DB in America), and B1G DPOY in 2013. 2x 1st team B1G, led the No Fly Zone DB group to 2 conference titles and a Rose Bowl before becoming a 1st round pick.

DBs:
CB Desmond King- Iowa
1st Iowa true freshman starter at DB in over a decade, King became a 4 year starter finishing as a 2x AA with a Thorpe Award and finished his career with 14 INTs and 3 TDs

DBs:
S Antoine Winfield Jr- Minnesota
Winfield battled injuries his whole career and would have racked up a few more accolades without them, 2019 was his only full season and he finished as the B1G DB of the year and a unanimous AA

DBs:
S Malik Hooker- Ohio State
Another 1 year starter, Malik Hooker picked off 7 passes, returned 3 for TDs, and had 5.5 TFL in that season and was named a unanimous AA.
There isn't much longevity here but he had one of the best single seasons in recent memory

All together the 2 safeties were questionable with limited starting exp. Kurtis Drummond had a hell of a case as a 2x 1st team B1G and B1G DB of the year in 2014 after starting the better part of 3 seasons #NoFlyZone
WR:
Tyler Johnson- Minnesota
Over 1,000 yards in back to back seasons brings his career total to 3,305 to go with 33 TDs. Ridiculous production over 4 years led Johnson to be a back to back 1st team All-B1G pick the last 2 seasons

WR:
Allen Robinson- Penn State
In 2 seasons starting this guy put up 2,450 yards and 17 TDs. He is the only Big Ten player in the decade to have 2 B1G WR of the Year Awards, and was nearly a shoe-in for this team.

DL:
Joey Bosa- Ohio State
3 seasons. 26 sacks. 51 TFL. 2x consensus AA, 2x B1G DL of the Year, B1G DPOY. On top of all that he was a national champion in 2014. Joey Bosa might have been the most obvious pick of this entire roster so far.

DL:
Chase Young- Ohio State
There was a chance they went Bosa-Bosa here, but the #2 pick in this year's draft gets the nod after finishing 4th in the heisman this year after racking up 16 sacks and 21 TFL in just 12 games and winning just about every award possible

DL:
Ryan Kerrigan- Purdue
Really happy to see him get the recognition he deserves.... but only played 1 year in the decade. That 2010 season Kerrigan finished with 12.5 sacks and 26 TFL, was the B1G DPOY and a unanimous AA.

DL:
JJ Watt- Wisconsin
Another player who only played 1 season in the decade, a season where he finished with 21 TFL and 7 sacks and was a 1st team AA. Watt is probably my biggest issue with this list as you can see the name recognition coming into play big time

Kerrigan and Watt are a problem for me because they only had 1 year of 2010s production. I would have liked to see Shilique Calhoun get one of those spots after being a 3x 1st team All-B1G, a B1G DL of the Year, and being an anchor for 2 conference championship teams
