The real life hyperlinks. Disclaimer: This note was written by me and shared on FB longtime back - so anyone telling me that this is coped and pasted without credits - beware!! //
How we humans follow our own hyperlinks and end up at a different point than what we started out for initially !!!

It started with my best half wanting to do some Yoga. That led her going for the mat. The mat was hiding in a container. Out came the yoga mate. But....
When the mat came out, she discovered that the cover of the container, which housed the mat, is broken.
"Aji Sunte ho (she did not exactly call that but what the heck !!), should I throw out the cover?" came the question disturbing my somnambulist feelings.

"Yes dear", I responded, not wanting to show that I did not make head or tail of what she wanted.
"Can you come over here?". It was more of an order that was couched as a request. Her command was obeyed and I went to the room where she was.

"See, this cover is broken. Should I throw it?

"Now that you have taken a decision, let us implement it!!" And out went the cover.
But now, we have a big container without any cover. How to "cover" it?

"Why do not we put the smaller container into this. It will mean freeing up some space" I ventured.

"Yes, not a bad idea"
So we opened the smaller container, only to find that we have a treasured collection of plastic and other bags, bags in bags.

So we take them out and in the process realize that more we want to throw things out, more we tend to keep them.
My mate asks me,"What do we with this blister pack"
"It will help in packing fragile things that we want to courier" I mutter.
"Oh yes, you are right, So let us keep this"

"What about this cloth textured bag which has been hiding so far", I ask.
"We can use it for getting veggies, you know". And I nod my head.

And so it went.
Eventually, not a single bag went out. They got transferred from one container to another. And at the end, neither did my best half do any Yoga - she got the equivalent amount of peace from doing yoga by doing karma yoga !!
So we went from one point to another clicking on the hyperlinking totally oblivious to the fact that she did not get to start what she wanted to do !!!
