I go by a rule in life and it is:
If you’re not a POC you don’t get to decide what’s racist/offensive or not.

Yes, that does include the use of fake tan. As a white person, I’m not in the position to decide what is blackfishing or not.

I may not understand, but I stand.
I don’t think anyone wants to ban fake tan. The issue is, some people are using it to darken their skin tone to the point they’re becoming racially ambiguous. I read a really good thread on this a while back and I wish I could find it but I can’t.☹️
