30 years ago today I was locked away in a padded room, straight jacketed, sedated & deemed crazy & my only crime was coming out as transgender. 15 days later I was an inch from death from a skinhead who wanted me dead b/c the group therapist revealed my trans status.

That is how they used to treat trans kids when they tried to come out. All that conversion therapy & all that bullshit. I went through it for years as child. Behold 30 years later I'm still trans & I transitioned which was the hardest thing I ever did less that time period. 2/
When you hear & see what these gender critical people across the world are proposing & doing towards trans people & essentially trans kids. They don't realize the harm they're doing to these kids. The undue torture & hell they want to put these kids through simply for being 3/
Themselves. Do these dame people ever consider what if someone did this to them simply for being who they are. Do they simply turn a blind eye, do they simply not care or are they all really that much more evil then we all know.
Do they ever look in the mirror

Do they ever look in the mirror

At themselves. Do they see the pain & agony they bring upon even their own family members in some instances. Do they not get it yet, why their kids, their brothers, their sisters, their fathers, their mothers, their grandparents & onward stay silent sometimes for decades now. 5/
Do they really not understand why they stayed silent. Is it really that hard to get? It's because of them for God's sake. Do these people really not see they knew nothing because nothing was safer then knowing. Family only matters until it doesn't. 6/
A country only matters until it doesn't. The land of the free is a myth. B/c if you slither one ounce outside the realm of what one person feels is outside the norm they torture you for it, they enslave you for it, they pass laws to block you from it, the lock you away for it. 7/
The point being that while they labeled us the monsters, in reality they're the monsters. Acceptance of one's family, one's friend's or even the unknown which scares them is what stands in front of them actually being human.
We are who we are. Trans kids will always be trans 8/

Black lives will always matter first. The lgbt community will always be united by that one thing we all have in common.
We all have our detractors but it's time to stand against them together. Equality for ALL, ALL for equality 100% across the board, across the world. 9/

Just like in my case. People tried everything they could to keep me from being trans, they said I was gay & it was wrong, that I was confused, but yet here I am still trans & still gay ( technically bi/pan).
The point being that you can only stall progress for so long. 10/

We are no longer a world of one race, one sexuality or two genders. We are a world of people made up of millions of particles from the universe it self. We're different & we always have been but being different is what should bring us all together to work together as one. 11/
Get the picture yet!?!
