OFFICIAL: Arsenal will face Manchester City in the FA Cup Semi-Final on July 19th.

Arteta on the win: "I think the players deserved the win with the way they fought, their attitude &, for some moments, the way we played as well. We know how difficult it is to win here. After the equaliser, the reaction... I really like it from the team so I'm really pleased"

Mikel Arteta: "I never fault the effort of the players. I think the way they are applying themselves is superb. You have to only see our front players, how they go to the pressing for every single ball. I'm really happy with that"

Mikel Arteta on Nicolas Pépé : "I really liked him from the past. I didn’t know him personally, but I think he is a player with incredible potential, but he needs to be decisive in every game"

Arteta: "He [Pépé] needs to take care of moments in the game when he disconnects himself a little bit. He cannot do that, & I will be very persistent with him to try to change that because at his best, he can make the difference for the team"

Arteta on Pépé: "I’m very excited about what he can bring (in the future) & what he’s bringing to the team this season. I think he’s made a click & I think he realises what he needs to do for the team when we don’t have the ball"

Arteta: "I’m so pleased, you’ve seen his [Pépé’s] defensive actions were incredible & then with the ball he gives us that creativity & flair we need & big teams need. He’s always unpredictable with what can happen when he’s got the ball, so I think he’s in the right direction"

Mikel Arteta on Kieran Tierney: "He is a kid with an incredible attitude & he is so willing to learn & to put in everything he has. He has a massive heart & I am delighted to have him in the team. He's a kid who is going to get better and better & better"

Shkodran Mustafi: “Sometimes you have to see what the opponent does. It’s not easy when the opponent throws a lot of bodies upfront & a lot of long balls. I don’t know what they give this goalkeeper to eat, he kicks it out of the stadium!”

Mustafi: “What I see is this team believes & believes in how we want to play football & tries things, even when sometimes it doesn’t look as good as it should. I think it’s a process & we have to believe in the process.“

Mustafi: “We have to continue, we have to get onboard the ideas the coach is giving us to try & develop to a team that we want to be. As I said, this is a process & we have to believe in it & go with it.”

Shkodran Mustafi on Luiz: “At the end of the day, we’re all human beings, we make mistakes. For a defender, it’s not always easy but he’s experienced enough & knows how to deal with those situations. He’s a fantastic team-mate that brings a lot of life into the dressing room.”

Shkodran Mustafi on David Luiz: “His career speaks for itself, if you win what he has won, then you’ve done something right. For me, he’s a big personality & I’m happy to have him in the team.”

Van Persie on Arteta: "I do believe in Mikel. I played with him for 1 year so I know what he's like as a person. He was a good player but I believe he can become a great manager. He should get all the time he needs. Not months, he should get years & I believe he can get it right"
