1/ I might become the worst thing imaginable: A one-issue voter. (The issue: Culture wars.)
If anti-blank slate science is going to get cancelled, the only remaining hope is to pack SCOTUS with conservatives.
This means voting for the GOP (for the first time ever).

2/ But could I hold my nose and vote for Trump? I'm not so sure.
This is why — and I don't think this is going to happen (because Trump doesn't care about his party but only himself) — this caught my attention. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-polls-republican-gop-operatives-possible-drop-out

3/ A Pence/Haley ticket? Yeah, I could see myself walking into a voting booth for that. Not with any enthusiasm, but with at least the hope that they might be able to add a conservative or two to the Court — a way to help delay the inevitable prog-left cultural victory.
4/ Of course a solidly-conservative SCOTUS would probably be a disaster in areas like campaign finance reform, gerrymandering, and anti-trust, but those don't pose the existential threat that a full-blown victory for the prog-left in the culture wars does.
SCOTUS can stop moves toward institutionalizing equality of outcomes, discrimination against whites & Asians in employment and college admissions, adding “hate speech” qualifications to free speech cases, and can generally help keep the far-left at bay. https://twitter.com/OhadEsq/status/1277383621825966085
