I find it really exhausting how many people seem to go out of their way to not call transmisogyny “transmisogyny” even when it’s happening right in front of them

Someone will go on an eight-page screen about how trans women specifically are a terrifying threat to children, rapacious, predatory, etc, and someone will look at it and say, “Wow, why does this person hate LGBT people so much?”

WHICH LGBT PEOPLE

SAY WHICH PARTICULAR GROUP THAT WAS NAMED SPECIFICALLY MULTIPLE TIMES

It’s especially bad because other LGBT people contribute to transmisogyny, so dissolving it into a vague “anti-queer” problem actually makes it easier for them to be transmisogynistic

WHICH others? Who specifically is being blamed for what cis men do?

I’m not saying every single comment has to mention every oppression and have maximum possible specificity.

But it wouldn’t be a problem if there wasn’t a consistent pattern of erasing transfems in our own oppression.
