A Whisker Away
[Mild spoilers]

Ah where do I start. First off, wow this movie totally went to a route I didn't expect. The concept of it was pretty interesting and definitely tried to keep you hooked.

I guess to start with some positives-

The best part of the movie in my opinion is definitely the middle section, it hit way harder then I would've expected from such a movie, it also revealed the main characters personality traits very well. She's definitely well written for such just a feature film. -

I guess going off the main plot, it was sort of a mixed bag for me. It started off pretty strong, introducing the interesting concept and playing on it well. But the end part of the movie, atleast for me, felt the weakest.

The Cat Island give a big Ni No Kuni vibe from me,-

Which was great and showed that the environment was nice, but the plot sorta fell off, general beats where still going on. But it went slowly to a more normal romance plot at the end, with a villain that (even for a movie rated 6+) was a bit lacking.

However in the end. The shot composition overall was great, the music was really interesting(atleast to me), and the general main story had some very good highs.

If i had to give it a score, probably a good 8.3/10
