Be cautious of making payments or purchasing items via bank transfers.

There’s no way to claim back on a bank transfer if things go wrong so if it’s gone, it’s gone.

Businesses should offer a secure payment method such as PayPal, Apple Pay etc. These methods protect you as a consumer and allow you to:

1. Claim back under Sec 75 of the consumer credit act (Credit Cards)
2. Initiate a chargeback (Debit Cards)
3. File a dispute (PayPal)

Bank transfers are ONLY meant for money transfers to people that you know as the money cannot be recuperated once sent.
