ngl, i'm a little worried about the way people are framing the next album as "the self-produced album". 1. it implies that previous albums were not self-produced, which is not true.
2. we don't know details about the album yet but from what we have heard, like them sending their tracks to the company, it doesn't sound all that different from the previous albums when it comes to the music. like we can't be 100% they won't use outside contributors too atp
The biggest difference seems to be with their involvement in everything else that is not music tbh. That and the fact that vocal line is more involved but that seems to be more about the timing and them maturing as musicians
of course i could be wrong and the album could be 100% written by bts members, but i'm just saying this because i feel like people are creating expectations based on very little info and will be disappointed later
