This is so frustrating to me. Hollywood DOES have massive systemic problems. But for me, personally, as a child and teen, I always felt most unsafe and most taken advantage of by the media, strangers on the internet, and creepy “fans”. Not by the people around me in Hollywood.

And I realize I was incredibly lucky, because I have heard horrible stories about young people who were abused by people in Hollywood. But that was not my experience. I just wish people would listen to ALL of our experiences.

Hollywood is a giant organization, and any giant organization is bound to be corrupt. It’s not immoral, it’s AMORAL, and capitalist to its core.

But people won’t listen when I say “actually it was often the public who made me feel worse” because then they might have to look at themselves and what they tweet and post and share
