It is absolutely time to stop giving cishet white women a pass. This is not something men forced her to do with abuse and gaslighting. She got a taste of the power white men wield in society and decided to use it just as they do. This is not fighting patriarchy, it’s joining it.
She wants to hide behind her abuse — which, since I’m not a cishet white man, I can say is COMPLETELY FUCKING IRRELEVANT — but what she’s really relying on here is the power she receives from her place in society, that position we used to reserve for white men
