I've been on and off Twitter for awhile now, countering Disinformation.

Those who are familiar with my work know that I try to provide accurate and sometimes uncomfortable information to the general public.

Some have even called me an expert which, while very flattering, is not true. I have developed some skill at identifying bad actors, disinformation, etc, but I am not an expert.

There are, however, experts.

And they are here on Twitter.

If you have followed me on Twitter, you know that I defer to the experts, and you know who they are.

Why?

Because everything breaks down when we stop relying on real expertise. A general snapshot of society in its present state is evidence of this.

I am compelled to break my recent habit of avoiding unnecessary personality conflicts on Twitter.

I want to make clear that I will not tolerate people trying to destroy the credibility of the most important experts on this jaded platform, because of their own bad behavior.

I won't tolerate this BS character assassination...by CLUELESS NON-EXPERTS.

If you are on Twitter and your goal is to try to erode the credibility of experts, you are quite literally contributing to the moral decay of this country.

You are working against your country, not for it.

And if you are targeting individuals with years of patriotic government service, you damned well better make sure you know WTF you're talking about, before you go down the road of character assassination.

Enough.

I'm thoroughly disgusted.
