@adhib Alright, gone through that document you said, were you referred to how the Scottish Government found no data from countries in regards to what self ID has "done" in various countries. Think you made a mistake there in what that means- THREAD!
Here is the question asked by Joan She is asking why no evidence was cited in the consultation paper in support of the following statements (next tweet)

here is a link to the question an answer pictured: https://www.parliament.scot/parliamentarybusiness/28877.aspx?SearchType=Advance&ReferenceNumbers=S5W-26950&ResultsPerPage=10
Here are the statements McAlpine is referring to and asking for evidence IN FAVOUR of:

"The Scottish Government has not identified any evidence supporting the claim that trans women are more likely than non-trans women to sexually assault other women in women-only spaces."
"In addition to concerns about the inclusion of trans women in women-only spaces and services, some respondents expressed concerns that predatory men posing as trans women would seek to gain access to women-only spaces and services for malicious reasons"
In this context, it is A HELL of a leap to imply that the government did not find evidence because research was never carried out. You can see from the answer: "(The review)... did not find any relevant research from these jurisdictions in relation to these statements."
That is clearly her saying they did not find any evidence supporting those statements. That does not mean no research on the impact of self ID on same-sex spaces was never done.

Instead, you have claimed the lack of evidence, is evidence in itself. It isn't. You are wrong.
