I don't know the entire story with Zack and the CoC Committee - but keep this in mind. The general public does not always deserve the right to have full transparency on a situation. I've been abused by communities and figureheads removed the people at fault.
The community had demanded full details and didn't trust the ones in charge despite the awful things the person did for me. They gave a light summary of some things that happened, but the people demanded more. I didn't want to keep reliving that trauma.
It was so much and some ppl were so loud in demanding me would be unbanned until I just decided to leave myself. I trust there is more that they aren't telling us, but also consider that Zack is flat out accepting his ban. He's showing more maturity than all of you.
But if it is literally only match fixing and nothing else, I personally wouldn't support such a long ban - Though I trust there is more we don't necessarily know, nor do any of us deserve every single bit of information. They handle it for a reason and not the public.
So many ppl say ewww I hate cancel culture, it's awful - but then they complain about a committee designed to help people and avoid such public twitlonger call-outs. Are they perfect? No. But they are doing a thankless job no one else will do.
