Now come to foreign policy. Well the Soviet Union was becoming history. There was only one hyper power. So what is so surprising if Rao reached out to the US or proxies such as Israel?

We Indians really need to read broader world events. Can’t judge based on just domestic view.

As I’ve always said Rao mega fans are, as a generalisation so yes many exceptions are there, those who would like to present themselves as connoisseurs of politics. To name a very mass-ey choice like Modi or Vajpayee would come across as too unsophisticated.

Of course this is for people who don’t like the dynasty. In that crowd, people say Indira or Rajiv if they are the masses and they say Nehru if they are the classes.
