A 'free' social media site is not free. All free means is that you agree to give up a certain amount of privacy and allow them to shape the 'public' message you receive. It's not a natural conversation. #parler appears to be the latest iteration of this blueprint.
Following is a thread that reviews Parler's 'freedom' social media site and how very unfree and very unprivate they really are.
You give up your cell phone number to them ... but who are they, and why do they need to associate your account with who you are in real life? This is a HUGE invasion of privacy ... not even Twitter does this.

Their 'Privacy Policy' is a nightmare:
They collect the following info from you:

-your phone number
-location
-device info
-useage habits
-your contacts (if you use their 'friend finder' service)
-3rd party cookies. WHY???

So now what do they do with this info?
Any thing they want:

"For other purposes for which we provide specific notice at the time the information is collected."

This baffle gabble is intended to give them the freedom to use your information in anyway they want at any point in the future. !!!
"Marketing. We do not rent, sell, or share information about you with nonaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes unless we have your affirmative express consent."

'nonaffiliated?' Basically they will sell your info to 'affiliated' 3rd parties only. SMH.
"Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. " They will give your information to any other 3rd party in the event that Parler is acquired ... or in the case of any other business transaction that might take place.

Are you getting the picture?
Now lets look at the User Agreement:

"You agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy, including the transfer of information to other countries for storage, processing, and use."

'and use?' What does that mean? Basically anything they chose to do with your information is 'use'
"You grant to Parler a license to any content posted by you to the Services ... to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute your content. "

Anything you say can be used by Parler in anyway they want. You've already consented.
Free speech?

"Parler may remove any content and terminate your access to the Services at any time and for any reason or no reason, although Parler endeavors to allow all free speech that is lawful and does not infringe the legal rights of others."

Sound familiar?
Parler is so 'free speech' they tell you twice that they can remove your content whenever they want, "Parler is free to remove content and terminate your access to the Services even where the Guidelines have been followed."

Sounds like Twitter or Youtube to me ...
"You agree that you will not participate in a class action claim against Parler."

So if they chose to attack (in anyway you define attack,) a certain group of people on Parler, you are not allowed to defend yourselves as a group.
Finally ... the worst thing you just agreed to: "YOU AGREE
TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES WITH PARLER THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION WITH THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION ..." (Their caps, not mine.)

And you get to pay for their defense:
"You agree to defend and indemnify Parler as well as any of its officers directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, obligations,
losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to all attorneys fees)" ...
"arising from or relating to your access to and use of the Services. Parler will have the right to conduct its own defense, at your expense, in any action or proceeding covered by this indemnity."

"At your expense ..."
So if they get sued, you agree to pay for their defense.

How's that for 'freedom?'

Parler is no different than any other social media site ... right now they are inviting in all the banned people and collecting your info.

What comes next?
