I just finished watching the last episode of The Plot to Destroy America and honestly if the USA refuses to adopt a voting system like the one on France they can no longer claim to be a democracy and we can never trust our election results again.

Every voter receives an envelope containing a small, unmarked envelope and as many small slips of paper as candidates, each slip marked with the name of one candidate plus one blank. The voter then goes to their voting station (there is 1 voting station per 800-1000 voters max)..
... on a Sunday because elections are held on Sundays and goes into a curtained voting booth. If the voter forgot his/her envelope, there are extras at the station. Can I repeat that a voting station can not serve more than 1000 voters? So the voter goes alone into the booth...
...and selects one slip of paper on which is written the name of one candidate (or the blank slip) - nothing else is written on either the slip or the envelope thus it's totally anonymous), and slips that paper into the unmarked envelope. He/she can then either drop the rest...
...of the slips into a trash can in the booth or take them home (if they suspect the person behind them will go through the trash can to see which slip is missing, thus guess who the person before him/her voted for - the French are very private). The voter then, one at a time...
...approaches a large table with the urn on top at which sits representatives of each political party. He/she then hands voter card + id card to one person with the voters roll, that person checks the voter's name in the log, checks it off, and, as the voter drops his/her ...
...envelope through the one-way trap in the top of the urn the person with the log says, aloud (publicly), "X has voted" and checks their name off the list. Voter collects dog & children outside and goes home.
At the end of the day when voting is closed, the urn is...
At the end of the day when voting is closed, the urn is...
...opened in front of representatives of each political party and some volunteer citizens, the envelopes opened one at a time, and the votes are counted out loud. This result is then reported to whoever votes are reported to.
Everyone can vote.
Max 1000 voters to a station.

Paper ballots.
Anonymous, unmarked ballots.
Votes counted at the end of the day.
A no-brainer.
