@HRDMinistry @DrRPNishank @ugc_india @SanjayDhotreMP 1/13 Here are a few things I would like to point out and wish for the HRD ministry to clarify for us final year students.
1) You're okay in promoting students in 1st year on the basis of their internal assessment, very well BUT
2/13 you're not ready to do the same for us Final year students. Who, btw, have already cleared their previous sems to reach the final sem.
2) The number of cases keep on rising and unsurprisingly, India hasn't even reached its peak. HOW are you so sure you can resume classes and
3/13 examinations this academic year?
3) Why is it so important to conduct exams in between all this death and pandemic?
4) Will you make sure that everyone who gives their exams will get JOBS right after this because you sure are hyping these exams.
5) How is the value of our
4/13 lives any less important?
6) Have you even cared to take into consideration the point of view of us students AND our parents?
7) If exams made such a difference then how are people with PhDs, jobless? That's one of the highest degree out there.
8) And if these exams are so
5/13 important then why are the ministry along with UGC NOT prepared for conducting the exams online? It's not a rocket science and if it was at least @isro would have found an answer by now.
9) What is the Ministry scared of? If exams are conducted online then somehow our
6/13 education system would get better? Is this the problem? Because with the amount of resources that Ministry and UGC have, you can easily sort out the situation.
10) How do you expect the students to reach their respective University-city? Since the Railways have only limited
7/13 trains working till AUGUST 15, at least. Would you be daring enough to start trains just for students? And if you can do that then why cant you just conduct these exams online?
11) Will the ministry and UGC take responsibility if we were to get infected in the process of
8/13 giving exams? And can you be certain that we wont die if we get infected? I need to know this because I may be 23 but my immunity is real bad and I'm not alone.
12) What about after this? I'm a masters final semester student and, my classmates and I are applying to different
9/13 Universities for higher studies and the entrances, of course, cant take place till the pandemic is OUT. So, you're leaving us hanging. We dont want a drop year on our CVs! And a drop year, is stressful. Saying from experience.
13) IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO DECLARE IT A ZERO
10/13 YEAR AND EASE OUT THE STRESS FOR EVERYONE? STUDENTS. PARENTS. PROFESSORS. Its a total win-win for everyone. What does the Ministry and UGC have to lose here?

Few additional things I would like to say for all of us:
1) We dont have a problem in giving exams. We have been
11/13 giving exams for 19 years now. We just dont wanna die for it. Our lives are more important to us and our parents than exams. Sue us.
2) You're ignoring the mental heath of students. Instead of giving us any hope, you're giving us anxiety and stress headaches. You're just
12/13 increasing the uncertainty in our lives.
3) Students in their final year have the most amount of pressure. Pressure to apply and get accepted for higher studies. Pressure to get a job and help out with our families. And you're trying to ease out the situation for everyone
