so it's pretty clear to me that all this reopening stuff is all about white people feeling deprived of their believed God-given right to be served.

They need to go to restaurants, nail salons, hairdressers, retail stores because whiteness depends on being reassured that there are people below them on the ladder. Just knowing that there are darker people who are poorer than them isn't enough.

Just knowing that there are darker people whose job it is to serve them isn't enough.

They have to go out in the world and *see* it. Their entire identity for the past 400 years has revolved around that need to be in the same physical space as people who they can use to vindicate their whiteness.

White people were denied that inalienable right for a few weeks and they took to the streets with guns and had their supreme white leader send Black and brown people out in the world to risk their lives all to notarize whiteness.

And now whiteness has a new supreme weapon: a virus that allows them to push their identities to the next level. It's not just enough to serve white people.

Now they want us to serve them while they don't have their masks on; they want us to serve them and know that the rules don't apply to them. They want to see us risk our lives to serve them. They want us to know that they know we are dying to serve them.

White people are tethered to their whiteness so much that they can't even see themselves as human without Black and brown people to bounce their whiteness off of.

The sadness of white supremacy is only outdone by its cruelty.
