we are not organizing our annual air rally this year. instead we are going to fly from our home to barcelona (via annemasse), spend some time there, then return via grenoble area (maybe scoring some soaring hours). should be a nice ~1000NM trip, details will follow
preflight inspection complete, the birb got just slightly over 50hrs on a new engine
weather is good, avgas is cheap (€1.47 @ ELLX), cleared for takeoff
nancy area, a perfectly good airfield that was destroyed by green energy

(low altitude is not safe, you burn much more fuel and flying in choppy thermals makes you wanna puke)

i have scored my first 1.5 hours on a glider. soared with eagles. had to use supplementary oxygen. practiced loops and spins
and returned to my home base, taking a couple of more "lakes with mont blanc in the background" photos, some avionics malfunctions notwithstanding. such joyride, so grateful to all of you who i've met these days.
