As someone who has “SURVIVE” tattooed down my entire forearm I just want to says it’s okay to be completely overwhelmed by depression. Talked to a bunch of people I love this week that are in the same boat. Don’t ride it out alone.
Heres some things that help me: Exercise in some capacity everyday, finish even the most minuscule task to completion, don’t drink or drink less, try and call someone you love they are probably feeling the same.
Understand that you’re down swings are not permanent. Take a hot shower as an easy reset button or try to take a walk. Try to find existential surfboards to help you ride out the waves. Hope is always accessible. Trust me
I care about all of you deeply and I have had a lot of experience with getting way down but just as many experiences pulling myself up again.
