From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who supported us these past 7 months. The election results won't be official until early July, but there is a large gap between myself & Mondaire Jones.
We'll wait for results. We need to respect the democratic process and count every vote. My experiences as a foreign election monitor taught me to do so, and now with so many challenges to our precious democracy, it is even more important.
Nonetheless, we are preparing for an outcome that wasn’t what we all wanted.
Regardless, I'll never stop fighting to make the American Dream a reality for all of us—and I hope you don’t either. We all have a role to play to make our community & country live up to our ideals.
