Yup. Cause that's the most comfortable. Do with that I do what you will.

I twerked and squatted both my babies out while beating on balls.

Coincidentally... https://twitter.com/summerdawnxx/status/1275983502643654656
Hospitals have options for mothers and they don't tell you a thing. Take the hospital tour of all the possible hospitals you could end up. Get a doula and make a birth plan that you go over with your midwife/Obgyn . Have someone on your birth team go over that birth plan...
With the nurse one duty during your delivery day. They will question your birth plan. So that's why it's important for your doula and birth team to know it and have your back so you can concentrate on birthing.
I was high risk but I wanted to dance through labor up until I pushed. The hospital had a Bluetooth monitoring set that they had rarely used. So I could still twerk and squat. You think I would have gotten that without having my birth plan and demanding?
Hospitals have bluetooth monitors, stability balls, birthing tubs, contracting/laboring showers, peanut balls to help along dilation, squatting racks, squatting bars on beds..... But they will tell you non of that. They will just ask if you want drugs and make you lie down
I lied down through one contraction while they checked my dilation at 9cm, that was the most excruciating pain I've ever had. Like every bone in my body breaking.
I can't imagine why they make all women do that
Walking, twerking, bouncing on a stability ball, having a partner or doula apply pressure to pressure points all help to make those contraction after 7cm dilation bearable. No 1 is telling Black women this information. I've made it my purpose to tell Black women this information
And I know they don't really tell all women but it's especially dire for Black women. Particularly Black women in GA and those are my people.
