#JodieOurDoctor - a thread
Pardon a ramble thanks to a headache but I sense positivity and I must engage. I cannot even begin to say what an absolutely amazing person Jodie is. She is so kind and sweet, and will talk your ear off in the best way possible. She's a treasure.

I will hold onto this story until the day I shuffle off but like. I literally just went to the BAFTAs to say hi and maybe be a chaotic little shit and surprise a friend. Jodie surprised ME and my mates by just...offering this photo op AND signing and I am still in awe today.
Off the back of her being the Doctor, I finally found the courage to take up cosplaying. I even started going to conventions, and meeting more people who have been in the show. Her role has given me so many good memories and so much confidence to be myself, it's unreal.
Not only that, but I also started to get back into art, and also writing, after years of being too scared to thanks to trauma and bullying. With her being the Doctor, I stopped being scared of being a "nerd" and completely embraced it. I don't know what I'd be doing otherwise.
ON TOP OF ALL THAT, I have friends because of her. Actual, legitimate friends that care about me. Friends who I don't think I ever would have found without her being cast as the Doctor. Friends who I would not have survived 2019 without. They honestly keep me alive...
Quite frankly, I would have missed out on so much life without Jodie being part of Doctor Who. Because of her, being unapologetically herself, I can do the same. I'm living my best life because of her and her love for the community, and that's why I love #JodieOurDoctor
