NYC is scheduled to restart *indoor* service in bars & restaurants in a little over a week.

Yes our curve remains flat (for now). But how can we ignore what's happening in 29 other states? How can we ignore the mountain of evidence of greater risk indoors?

Let's not rush this.
NYC's Phase 3 reopening is set for July 6. This includes both indoor bar/restaurant service AND a variety of *outdoor* recreation areas (tennis, dog runs, volleyball, basketball courts etc).

Let's break this up and open the outdoor stuff TODAY, and pause on the bars/restaurants.

Yes we need to do much more to help struggling restaurants in NYC. Here are the right ways to do that:
* dine frequently in outdoor seating
* order lots of take out
* tip generously
* support expanded street space for tables
* support add'l gov't relief funds
