Seeking out a manager or an agent is like seeking out a blue check mark on twitter. Just work hard and do everything you guys can do to grow your name, all the fancy people in suits will come to you. if they are interested in you before many listeners are then be wary
People seem to think “I need an agent to get on good shows”

You need your bands shows to be banging because they are YOUR BANDS SHOWS first. Then agents will be interested. THEN they can show you to bigger audiences.

In other words if you cant draw kids without the agent you need to keep working until you can before you worry about signing one because no on is interested in putting their name out their for some kids sitting at home with their hopes and dreams.

Just be greedy! Look at it that way! You wanna pay this bills off this band right? DONT SHARE YOUR MONEY. Pay out only the band members and close friends who tour with you for as long as possible. if your fanbase is still growing, why not?
