I asked all the people (especially authors) slapping Damian Barr's back yesterday which trustee they should go after next (two others have "homophobic" voting record/investigation of them) and of course no one reacts. They won't go after anyone else. This is all about
Baroness Nicholson standing up to the way gender identity impacts negatively on women and children. Several blue tick men hounded @TheBookerPrizes, telling them their original statement wasn't enough, they wanted a full cull. Then these same men are astonished and defensive when
they get accused of misogyny. They go in the opposite direction and accuse their accusers of hysterical misandry. @amateuradam said something about the Baroness being gleeful or gloating (apologies, I can't find it), meaning the letters she has been writing on behalf of women and
child safeguarding. THIS is of course what Damian Barr and other men objected to, but they went for the safer "homophobia" ruse, a vote in 2013 that Baroness N couldn't disagree with, but it's obvious they don't care about this, or they'd be up in arms about Corbyn and Obama and
all the others who've voted against equal marriage, and those two current Booker Prize trustees. This man, for example, is asked to consider what's happened to Baroness N, and instead makes a leap to this, what it's all really about, and we all know it. I cannot
believe this man is a journalist - does he really think there are groups of people who can be 'sent' by someone on Twitter, with no minds of their own? People pointed out the misogyny and McCarthyism to Barr, and he didn't like that, so turned himself in to a victim. He'd seen
himself as a brave hero sat typing his twitter thread. Not a hypocrite or someone angry that a woman has the power to speak directly to politicians and CEOs about how identity politics is hurting women and children. And @amateuradam is worried about the state of the publishing
industry! Stop hounding orgs to cancel women then. What's happened to JK Rowling and Baroness N is 100% pure misogyny, and no matter how hysterical or mindless they call us, we can see it. It is something @trussliz @KemiBadenoch @SophieJarvis94 @Q66Suzi need to help turn round.
