Most people don’t know this but Vancouver Canada has a area in the middle of downtown called Granville st and it is bigger than Chaz/ chop and is the same if not worse and it has been there for years , it’s also referred to as the downtown east side
There are junkies and prostitues everywhere, when you walk down the street you have to literally step over junkies and it’s filthy with needles and homeless people everywhere. They camp on the sidewalks and in the parks
Have you heard of the pickton pig farm that was run by a serial killer who picked up prostitutes and brought them to the farm where they were raped and murdered and then ground up and distributed to residents to eat
It is a literal open air drug market and the police will be standing right there while people shoot their drugs and they ignore it. Chaz is only a few blocks but this area is much bigger and has been there for many years
Chaz is small time compared to this area, it is ruled by many different criminal groups like the hells angels and so many other groups it would take to long to mention. It has been there for many years, why have you not heard of this before??
There are safe injection sites which are a store front operation where people go to legally shoot drugs and weed dispensaries everywhere
Chaz/chop is like pre school compared to the downtown east side
