Jenna Marbles is one of the good ones and it breaks my heart that she's decided to stop uploading after being cancelled over past mistakes. Seeing her cry while addressing everything...her intent is SO clear & her growth should be celebrated! NOBODY is 100% unproblematic. Fed up.

I've not met a single person that grew up in the 90s who *hasn't* said utterly awful shit in real life/online. What matters is how those people choose to act AFTER learning...after losing their ignorance. If 2008 me had Twitter I'd have been cancelled LONG ago. But PEOPLE CHANGE.

often, defensiveness comes first, especially when you've done something problematic that wasn't intended to hurt people. But if-after that-you change how you behave, you educate yourself, YOU'RE ONE OF THE GOOD ONES and you should NOT bow to imperfect people demanding perfection
