My parents are both close to eighty. In good health, but their age makes them high risk. I think that if I want to be in the same room as them in the near future, I need to put my kids in online school, right? How can I send my kids to school and hope to be with my parents?
And don’t let me forget that I probably need accessible testing (which is almost nonexistent I’m Arizona) to be really safe.
And let me add that the State just started to address funding issues a few days ago and schools are not prepared for safe in person instruction or quality online instruction starting in the next six weeks.
But in sum, Arizona is a case study in handling this horribly. And I want to see my parents. So I guess online school and long term isolation is my only option.
Just think, Arizona. You could have worn masks and given up your bars and parties and we would be so much better off. But you couldn’t do that.
I kind of forgive you, because your elected leaders lied to you and cared more about Trump than us. But why did you believe them? Why do you vote for these people? Why do I live here? END
