AFTER 30 FREAKING YEARS.

A story that has been totally enduring and the wait for 30 years would have been a havoc for the supporters who are day in day out at the Kop singing YNWA.

2/JURGEN KLOPP AND #Liverpool STORY:

Liverpool pipped to the title by 2 points in May 2014, after the famous Gerrad Slip and Ba scoring that crucial goal.

And finishing 6th the coming year thrown out of the Champions League as well. Change was eminent by then.

3/ October 8th 2015, Liverpool Announced Klopp as Brendan Rodgers replacement at Anfield.

Liverpool finished 2015/16 season in 8th Position in PL league but went on to the EUROPA LEAGUE final where they lost to Sevilla 3-1.

4/ 2016/17 Season: Rebuild Start

Singing of Matip + Bring Sadio Mane from Southampton and Gini Wijnaldum from Newcastle. The rebuild had started.

The magical season for Leicester City. Admist all that performance, Liverpool defeated Leicester 4-1 at Anfield.

5/ The season was full of ups and downs and finally finished at 4th in PL Table.

2017/2018: The Complete Build.

The big signing came in this season: Mo Salah, Andrew Roberson, Oxlade-Chamberlain. And of course the Virgil Van Dyk in winter market.

6/ The 100-point City season everyone remember. This was the best squad city had in their bag. These guys were like Robots. Liverpool finished 4th again and the 5-0 loss against City at Etihad was a shocker.

7/ Mo Salah came in all guns blazing that season with scoring 32 goals in PL and over-all 44 goals in that season. The trio Mane+Bobby+Salah was all set to take us to the CL Victory. The quarter finals with Manchester City was the starting of the rising.

8/ Beating City 5-1 on agg was a huge morale boost. Then beating Roma to meet the Real Madrid in the finals. They were up to the game so were the men in Reds.

9/ But tha Ramos Challenge on Salah changed everything and then Karius made those horrible mistakes leading to 3-peat for RM and Liverpool the Runner Ups.

2018/19: This is gonna be our Year.

After Karius mistake Alisson was brought in the goal.

10/ Plus the signing of Shaqiri + Fabinho + Keita. The squad was now complete.

Liverpool started the season with full energy and football quality was at the top Level. Liverpool had played 3 draws and 17 Wins and were 7 points clear at Christmas.

11/ 7 points is a huge huge margin to be clear but guess what. We are Liverpool so we choked once Again. The loss at Etihad on 3rd January was the starting point. Liverpool played 5 draws in next 9 matches which led to Man City being 1 point Ahead of Liverpool.

12/ 9 matches to go and 1 point Margin. Liverpool went to win all the matches but so did Man City. That rocket strike from Kompany vs Leicester City had won them the season. Man City 98 Liverpool 97.

No team had ever scored 97 and ended up as Runner Up.

13/ The competition with City was in parallel world.

Now the whole focus was on conquering Europe. Liverpool was runner up last season so went in with full confidence and beat BM 3-1 on agg.

8 May 2019 Every Liverpool fan had seen a spectacle.

14/ Screaming at 2 am when the everybody in your family thinks you have gone mad but its CORNER TAKEN QUICKLY ORIGIIIIII. We had reached the Finals again. This was all PL final and we had a game against Tottenham Hotspur at the initial penalty gave us the lead.

15/ We won it 2-0 and finally a trophy for Klopp and the boys. The super ending to a great season

2019/20: THE CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON.

16/ This is a season of Late winners and the sole quality of Never say die spirit of Klopp. 27 Games into the season Liverpool had won 26 and drew 1 at Old Trafford. Everybody had started thinking about being the invincibles.

17/ But then came the Watford test which Reds couldn't pass. The first loss of the season and everybody was feeling it even though we were ~20 points clear and Liverpool were Champions-Elect. And then came in the pandemic.

18/ The league was postponed and everybody was thinking about not being crowned champions but at the same time Pandemic was a bigger loss to humanity then being crowned the Champions. After 3 months came in the news of PL Re-start and everybody is gearing up for it now.

19/ We played a 0-0 draw in the Merseyside derby and then a 4-1 win against Crystal Palace. Just 1 point away from CHAMPIONSHIP. And then Chelsea defeated Man City 2-1 and thus we had won THE PREMIER LEAGUE.

The day of celebration, the day of Joy.

20/ This day has come after a long long wait. And winning a trophy after it's always 19 vs 1 and nobody wants you to win is a different feeling. People hate Liverpool. And being Liverpool supporter ain't easy. We cry in pain, in happiness through all the thick and thins.

21/ Banging the laptop when we lose, all those rage moments and then crying when you win the title all come in. Winning is an emotion and you can feel in it throughout the Journey.
