People claim wealth privilege doesn't exist but here's a list of things I grew up not realising due to it
- not everyone has spare bedrooms and studies at home
- not everyone goes on vacation yearly and not everyone goes abroad
- not everyone has books in their home

I could go on but until I was about 16, I genuinely thought everyone had all of those things. I couldn't understand what people moaned about - we all had it pretty good right?! We all had the opportunity to do well?!

backgrounds. Even well meaning middle class people (I've always been socially liberal and cared about the environment, equal rights for minority groups etc) grow up with no understanding what life is like for those without money. Its a massive privilege and 6/
its often invisible to those who have it, particularly if they never move in other circles. I went to college and then university and met a load of different types of people and realised quickly I was "well off". Plenty never do. They go to somewhere like Oxbridge 7/
and only mix with others from their background, get a job at their dads firm and continue to associate with other predominantly middle class people.
And continue to remain ignorant about peoples struggles. 8/8
