"um i like bl but im NOT a fujoshi because fujoshi means straight girl who fetishises gay men" thats not what fujoshi means and yes if you consume bl content and you are a woman or female aligned yes you are a fujoshi sorry

fujoshi was a misogynistic term that was reappropriated to mean "woman who consumes/produce BL content" if you do those things i have news for you
a lot of BL fans/fujos are lgbt themselves and i would say the majority doesnt fetishize gay men. are there people who do?

yes. are they the majority? no. most of us produce MxM content because we vibe with the way some chars interact and ship them and because we are lgbt ourselves wanting to tell lgbt stories.
