Whenever I feel helpless, I always remember my Ajji, things she went through and how she just went on with life.
She was and will always be my inspiration.
Getting married at the age of 13, when she didn't even know what it was.. (Also my Grandpa was 32 years older to her)

Having first baby at age 15, my granny had a family of her own even before she knew what family was.
Only gud thing my Grandpa did was, he made sure my Granny got education, so she could be self-reliant once he was gone.
She went on to become a teacher and later headmistress.

Lost my Grandpa at the age of 28(my dad was just 2 months old). Had 5 kids to take care off. Also she had to travel two villages away for teaching everyday.
Lost my uncle(Dad's elder brother) when he was just 12 years old.
As she lead a family without any male to lookafter,

There were lots of issues with villagers and many times theft happened at our home, when nobody was there.
She got her kids moved to Chitradurga with my Great Grandma and alone stayed at our village to take care of land and continue her teaching duty.

Made sure all her kids got proper education and become degree holders and get into proper jobs.
Fought in court on her own against Indira Gandhi government rule of " land belongs to the person who tills on it".
And won the case.
Supported her extended family.

Gave unconditional love to everyone and never once asked God " Why Me??".
Having heard all the above stories from others(She never said it on her own) n having seen her lead an independent life till her last breath all I can say is, she is the strongest person I have ever known.
