They don’t want whites to reconnect with our Irish history, because if we learn that the Irish Potato Famine was a deliberate genocide and that our ancestors were murdered by a railroad baron in one of the largest public hangings in US history, we’d link up with Black socialists. https://twitter.com/blacksocialists/status/1275931494557646849
BELFAST, 1983: Rev. Herbert Daughtry, a leader of the leftist National Black United Front, meets with Sinn Féin member Paddy Loughran to discuss the similarities between the Irish independence and the Black liberation movements.

Nearly 40 years ago and it still rings true today.
Between 1877 and 1879, 20 Irishmen known as the Molly Maguires, a radical labor movement working and organizing in the Pennsylvania coal fields, were executed.

It was one of the largest mass executions of any group by the US federal government in history. https://www.irishcentral.com/roots/history/molly-maguires-executed
The executions were “one of the most astounding surrenders of sovereignty in American history. A private corporation initiated the investigation through a private detective agency; a private police force arrested the alleged offenders; the coal company attorneys prosecuted them.” https://twitter.com/chadloder/status/1276390486798856192
