We switched to @UHC (United Healthcare) in March. They refuse to pay for the formula for my sonâs g-tube feeds (he cannot eat orally). The formula:
1) costs $500/month
2) has always been covered for him since birth (once I had to briefly fight for it, on Twitter) (1/4)

3) should definitely be covered, according to the case manager assigned to us who now refuses to return my calls
4) is covered for literally all her other patients with no problem, according to my sonâs provider.

multiple intensive disabilities is not anything he does or what heâs like. Itâs shit like this, where companies like @UHC make me call, refuse to hear his providers who told @UHC itâs fatal for him to lack access to his formula.(3/4)
And Iâm struggling to keep calling because I just want to give up. Even though I know thatâs exactly what they count on. (4/4)
