i highly recommend everyone to give fasting a try

fasting can be a very powerful tool if you know how to use it.

i discovered intermittent fasting after finding myself seriously unproductive after eating meals
fasting has given me the perspective to realize that most of the time i was eating out of habit (because it was time for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.) and not because i was actually healthy.
there are numerous studies that show medical benefits in fasting, but the way i look at is looking back at our ancestors... our ancestors didn't eat 3 meals per day. They probably didn't eat breakfast. Maybe a snack midday and then a feast at night after the daily harvest.
they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day but starting the day off with a full stomach is very unproductive in my experience
eating 3 meals per day, 7 days per week often leads to inflammation not to mention the american diet is way too carb heavy

fasting helps cleanse your system and makes you realize how much food your body actually needs.
im a Type 1 Diabetic so i was naturally skeptical of fasting, especially since doctors said it was ESSENTIAL that i eat 3 meals per day at regular intervals to stabilize my glucose levels.

Also worth mentioning that doctors STRONGLY recommended AGAINST fasting whenever i asked
Fasting is an excellent practice if you believe you're in need of a spiritual cleanse.

The saying goes, "fasting without prayer is just starvation."
My glucose levels have been GREAT ever since i started fasting. also my digestion has become much more efficient and i rarely find myself feeling bloated anymore..

Every so often i will partake in a 1-3 day fast but i intermittent fast now pretty much every day
you won't realize how inflamed your internals are until you partake in a fast... at least i didn't.

Intermittent fasting has been life changing for me. Going one month strong and i have no intention on going back to 3 meals per day ever again
just learning to eat when you're actually hungry can do wonders
MALNOURISHMENT is a serious concern though when it comes to fasting

was talking to a friend at the skatepark yesterday and he said he was hospitalized after intermittent fasting for 1 year due to malnourishment

have to make sure you're actually eating healthy nutritious meals
Of course everyone's body is different, so im not saying fasting is the be all end all solution to *insert health problem here*

but i do recommend giving it a try, you could be pleasantly surprised. đź’—
