1/4 I've the suspicion that Tesla Germany is involved in VAT fraud. In Q3 2019 they started to send invoices without VAT. The net price was identical with the gross price. They said it was an issue with a new software. It appeared again @orthereaboot @TESLAcharts @montana_skeptic

2/4 Q3 was the miracle which started the ~400% stock price rallye - an unexpected profitable quarter. After Q3 I've never got these false invoices again... until this month. Q2/20 is important for Tesla. If they can post a profit, they could get into S&P 500.

3/4 The stock price would maybe go above $1000 and stay there. They could show everybody that they can make profits even in a recession. So why should this VAT accounting error occur again after nine month? How many retail customers will see it AND demand a correction?

4/4 I think retail customers don't care. For them the final price is the relevant price & the final gross price is correct but without VAT. I doubt that Tesla pays VAT for the cars if their system prints invoices without VAT, the system will generate the tax report automatically
