A real lesson needs to be learned by Arsenal & the board following Liverpool's title win.

A season without European football will do us more good than harm. We're nowhere near fit enough nor good enough to compete at the European level.

We need to recruit and buy intelligently.
2016 - Klopp arrives and finishes 8th with a mediocre squad and lost in the UEL final.

2017 - recruits players from smaller clubs such as Southampton, Newcastle and Hull which have been vital to this title win. (Mané, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Robertson)
Klopp had a core of players which he could build a team around - Firmino, Coutinho, Henderson, etc. He recruited and bought players intelligently which he knew fit his system.

Arsenal have a core which can help Arteta build his team long-term. Pépé, Leno, Saka, Tierney, Saliba.
Arteta needs to look around to players which can fit his style of play. Szoboszlai, Partey and Upemacano have been linked but without financial muscle, we'll require alternatives, especially at RB and up front.

A creative midfielder is needed as is a RB and CB.
I'm not saying we'll win the league, it'll be YEARS until we do so, if at all ever again. But looking at how Klopp has used his team to his advantage and built around it, we can still take strides in the right direction.

Recruit intelligently, stick with a system and persevere.
