I don't think it's possible to be anything but impressed at being net-zero carbon-certified. That's cool, and bearing that name will undoubtedly help raise awareness of that issue.
BUT -- @Amazon's annual CO2 emissions have been reported to come close to matching the amount emitted BY SOME SMALL COUNTRIES. And the company is paying money to project a climate-conscious image.
Not only that, but @Amazon has been scrutinized for its lack of local philanthropy. Yes, I know Jeff Bezos gave $10 billion to fight the impact of climate change.
But paying for the naming rights to brand yourself as climate-conscious sure looks more like a PR investment than charity.
Also: It's a terrible name for an arena.
