So now we've all got our knickers in a twist over the latest antisemitism mess let's look at how we actually fight antisemitism rather than score cheap political points:
Firstly this is good https://twitter.com/MPeakeOfficial/status/1276200507154010113
This is a really important point: https://twitter.com/gaysoftheother/status/1276206819728334849?s=20
This thread is valuable;
"this is yet another missed opportunity for political education. Would have been so easy for all concerned to use this as a teachable moment" https://twitter.com/JontyLeibowitz/status/1276186549143699456?s=20
we should be invested in solving the root causes of antisemitism - Ignorance, white supremacy, christian hegemony.

We need to get better at identifying antisemitism, when Jewish trauma is being weaponized for political gains and who is actually invested in collective liberation
This is hard as it calls for uncomfortable conversations with people who we might not agree with, even people who might question our oppression.

by calling people into relationship and education we can actually move towards defeating antisemitism
For UK Jews who need a reference point the work of keshet UK going into jewish institutions (many of whom were/are homophobic) and trying to move them to understand systemic oppression a little better is something we can do with antisemitism.
This thread was also helpful in framing collective liberation as struggling together to understand each others oppression https://twitter.com/JonahNYC/status/1275938325438828548
