It's OK not to have been that productive as a sound engineer during this pandemic

- it's ok not to have learnt a new skill

- it's ok not to have read lots of books on audio

-it's ok not to have updated your website

- it's ok not to have practiced/improved your sound design skills

- it's ok not to have reached out to every audio contact you have, or new ones

- it's ok not to be running workshops & panel discussions

- it's ok to not to have attended online social/networking events

- It's ok not to post on social media for work as often as usual

- it's ok not to have written lots of aritcles and interviews

- it's ok to be distracted by future career & financial worries

- it's ok to be distracted by concern for family members

- it's ok to be tired & actually appreciate time off

- it's ok to be distracted because of loneliness or cabin fever.

- it's ok to be feeling low because of everything going on in the world right now

Don't feel pressure from seeing how productive others appear to be in their free time (social media can be misleading)

Don't feel pressure from seeing that others are working more than you but you haven't the motivation/energy at this time to do more about it

Everyone's situation is different.

Everyone's priorities are different, with vulnerable friends or family and financial difficulties.

Don't beat yourself up thinking you're a "lazy freelancer"

These are unprecedented times
