The left is right about Homicide Statistics!!
In 2016 Chicago had 763 murders, BUT only 151 were cleared. That clearance rate jumped to 53% for 2019, a year with about 500 reported murders. 261 were cleared but of those 152 were cleared exceptionally (meaning they just made up a reason to close it) also in 2019 the DA refused a high 25% of murder cases. https://www.google.com/amp/s/chicago.suntimes.com/platform/amp/2020/2/7/21126939/chicago-police-department-homicide-clearance-improvement-turnaround-analysis-ccx
All of this to pad the stats of course. Chicago’s criminal justice reforms have to at least appear to have had some sort of effect. Even if it means murder victims get buried by woke bureaucrats. In any case between 2016-2020 you have 700-800 murders that never get cleared...
And therefore never get added to the murder statistics by the FBI. This is the case for almost every majority black city. Meanwhile somewhere like North Dakota as a whole state has 482 murders from 1965-2018 and has 83% clearance rate. Chicago 32% black North dakota 5%
When you look at the effects over time it’s actually fucking staggering. In the state of Illinois between 1965-2018 there have been 48,000 homicides and only 17,637 clearances. And if you look at the time line they had like 70%+ clearance rates until 1985 and then it collapses.
So the left is right that the crime statistics are not accurate. Because it would seem that upwards of 50% of all black murders never get proper clearance and do not result in an arrest. The meme is 13 does 50 but just with this its easily like 13 does 70-75.
